After months of nurturing, monitoring, and learning, we’ve reached one of the most exciting points in the Namsnails journey: the Harvest. This harvest marks more than just a physical collection of snails—it’s a celebration of patience, resilience, and sustainable farming.

From the very start, our vision has been to build a quality-over-quantity farm where our snails are well nourished, housed within their required climate, and raised with minimal environmental impact. The care and hard work are finally bearing fruit (or should we say shells?)

Why the Harvest Matters

The harvesting of snails is not just about collection. It is about data, quality assurance and progress. During this process, the shell maturity and overall health are examined. This will then help the farm to refine its process in the future. Some of the snails are selected for breeding to ensure the next generation is even stronger. Harvesting also gives us a chance to evaluate the habitat in which the snails grow to ensure that it is healthy. To meet customer requirements.

What is next?

Just because we are harvesting does not mean that we have now reached the finish line. The next breeding cycle already started as we operate a seasonless system.

The harvest is a testament to what care, observation and intention can do. Every snail that we collect represents hours of learning and hard work! This milestone fills us with immense hope and excitement for the future. This success is much more than just a number; it is a celebration of life and a triumph of teamwork.
