If there is one thing that the world needs to know is that Namsnails is serious about snail farming. With about 25 000 square meters we are here to set the standard.

After months of hard work, Namsnails has proven time and time again that we are serious about snail farming. What started as a small idea has grown into something memorable.

Like many things in life, reaching the top is not easy and certainly not without setbacks. But the key to success is to never give up and learn from our mistakes. 2025 was a year filled with preparation, compliance audits and alignment with veterinary standards. This year has been a year of growth and improvement.

The snail farm breed top-quality snails not just for the local market but for export to the European market as well. For those who do not know, exporting to the EU is certainly not a walk in the park. It requires a lot of paperwork and close cooperation with the Namibian Veterinary Services who helped the farm to implement the necessary procedures.

After months of hard work, we are proud to say that Namsnails has met all the regulatory requirements to become a DVS-registered exporter of snails. For months, the farm has worked closely with the DVS to ensure that our farm meets the highest standards required to export to the European market.

The DVS registration certifies that our snail farming practices, processing methods, and product handling meet Namibia’s stringent health and safety regulations — essential for the export of any animal-derived product.

We are thrilled to have reached this milestone and to send our snails into the world! We are grateful to everyone who has made it possible to reach this point. This year has been a year of growth and improvements.
